Call for Tutorials

We are delighted to invite tutorial proposals for the upcoming 25th International Conference on Digital Audio Effects (DAFx25). Tutorials will provide participants — particularly young researchers and PhD students — an opportunity to deepen their understanding of key topics in digital signal processing (DSP), effects modeling, machine learning for audio, spatial audio, and other areas central to our community. Sessions will have an approximate duration of 1 hour and 30 minutes and should be designed to strengthen the expertise of attendees. Authors wishing to propose a tutorial session must complete the proposal form below by the submission deadline of  March 31st, 2025. Proposals should include a title and brief abstract, the instructor bio and an outline of the session with topics and approximate timing, and any special equipment or software requirements. Submissions will be reviewed based on relevance, clarity, and potential impact, and decisions will be communicated by  May 6th, 2025. Special consideration will be given to submissions from underrepresented groups and early-career researchers. We encourage innovative tutorials that combine theoretical insights with practical applications and hands-on components.
